Relevant items for attention, please refer to the “Parallel Table of Application Materials for Registration”.

a. The Application Form for Registration must be fulfilled completely, including company name, the located country/region, contact person, address (must be written in the located country’s official language and be written in Chinese or Chinese/English bilingual language), telephone, fax, postcode, legal representative, types of scrap materials exported for this application, staffing situation of every department of the company, major production and testing equipment, whether having the authentication certificate of quality control, year starting to export scrap material, date of initial export of scrap material to China, major sources of supply for scrap materials, major ports for the shipment of scrap materials and export types and volume of scrap materials to China in the past 3 years (need detailed statistics). In addition, the “Statement of Proposer” need be signed by the legal representative and stamped by the enterprise.

b. If copies of the documents of environmental quality control system or authentication credentials can be offered, the original papers may not be provided.

c. The explanations of basic sources of supply and environmental quality control measures need be provided with the introduction of considerable large scale suppliers with good repute, including the suppliers’ names and types of the providing scrap materials. In addition, the concrete measures taken by suppliers on the aspect of quality environmental protection of scrap materials should be explained, and the quality certificate of suppliers had better be provided.

d. Item about the general description and relevant certificating documents of the safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and quality of the scrap materials exported to China in the past three years should be provided with the detailed conditions during export of scrap materials to China in the past 3 years, such as whether having the substandard commodities in aspects concerning hygiene and quality, whether secretly carrying the hazardous waste or import-forbidden commodities, practicing deception, etc., whether having the condition causing serious consequences by not taking an active role in shipping back the merchandise failing to pass the inspection on environmental protection and required to be shipped back, whether having the condition attempting to divert the rejected merchandise to another port of entry for re-importation, whether having the condition forging the pre-shipment inspection certificate, etc.

e. Item about organizations, departments and post duties should be provided with main duty of every department and concrete names, quantities of the director and staff member.

f. Item about data of the permanent office and processing location (Plane figure), referring to your company’s overseas goods yards and material fields, should be indicated with various official and processing buildings, different placement areas for scrap materials (such as municipal refuse placement area, dangerous waste placement area, defective goods placement area, export-forbidden waste placement area, secretly-carrying things placement area, etc.), and names and types of various production and testing equipment, etc. In addition, some relevant photo or picture materials of goods yards may be attached.

g. Item about certificates of type, quantity, environmental protection quality of supplying goods should be provided with concrete types and quantities through export of scrap materials to China in the past 3 years and detailed statistics will be needed. Export record to China should be provided with relevant copies about the inspection certificate before packing (CCIC Certificate). If not having the experience of exporting to China, but having experience of exporting to other countries/regions, concrete types and quantities of scrap materials exporting to other countries/regions in the past 3 years may also be offered, attached with copies of the inspection certificate provided by commodity inspection authorities of relevant countries/regions.

h. “Statement of Proposer” in the fourth page of the 7th, 15th and 16th items of commitment letter and application form should be signed and stamped by your company’s legal representative.

i. Copies of the commercial registration document must be offered.

Attention: All the above-mentioned materials must be provided with Chinese or Chinese/English bilingual version. If only English materials are being provided by your company, the translation expenses will be undertaken by your company. Hereby announced.
