Disassembly processing region for recycle economy base of copper industry in Yingtan is a key project in Jiangxi Province, invested and built by join-venture Yingtan Xinda Investment Co.,Ltd, and has been paid great attention and support by Province Party committee and provincial government of Jiangxi, Municipal Party committee and municipal governments of Yingtan and Guixi.

Disassembly processing region is located in beautiful Guixi of Yingtan City, covers the total planning region of 3500 mu for Period one and total investment of RMB one billion. Disassembly processing region was classified as an experimental unit for management of imported regenerated resource in China by related ministries and commissions such as Environment Protection Head Bureau and the like in August 13,2007.

Disassembly processing region is including custom inspection and quarantine area, business management area, information logistic area, staffs living quarters, sewage treatment plant, solid rubbish disposal area and special-purpose line of railway transportation etc. Management committee was specified by the government to offer good quality service for the enterprises in the region for optimizing investing environment. The region was constructed strictly according to the technical specifications of national environmental protection "HJ/T181-2005", it will be the first modernized and environment protection demonstration region in the inland for the recycle, utility and processing industries of regenerated resources with annual disassembly processing capability of 1,800,000 tons and 21000 workers, and Yingtan is a biggest production base of copper industry in China with more than 80 processing enterprises and it will be a copper center in the world.

Moreover, in this region, there is the biggest copper smelting enterprise in Asia—Guixi Smelting Factory of Jiangxi Copper Industry Company. The annual needed miscellaneous copper and miscellaneous copper alloy are up to 950,000 tons, including more than 350,000 tons from Guixi Smelting Factory and other copper processing enterprises in Yingtan.
